Project Engineer Sustaining Capital Job

This is an opportunity for a skilled engineer to contribute to the development and execution of critical sustaining capital works.

About the Role
  • Manage assigned project scope packages from study through to delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to define and deliver engineering solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEC standards and lead safety initiatives.
  • Review technical documentation and ensure engineering quality and consistency.
  • Support procurement, tendering, and contract award processes.
  • Provide input into project planning, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Conduct site visits to resolve technical queries during construction and commissioning.
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Process Engineering.
  • Experience in the mining industry, with a focus on project engineering.
  • Strong understanding of site construction, operations, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage third-party contractors and deliver projects to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Experience in rare earths or mineral sands (desirable).
  • Postgraduate qualifications in project or business management (desirable).
