Capital Projects Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned project professional to lead our capital projects at a world-class manufacturing facility.
The Capital Projects Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing a portfolio of projects that meet or exceed our business objectives. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver safe, competitive, and predictable projects
- Manage risks, issues, and changes throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with operations, process technology, and corporate SMEs to ensure project delivery meets or exceeds expectations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, codes, and specifications
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in project delivery, preferably in a petrochemical plant or similar industrial environment
- Minimum 5 years of brownfield execution experience, working as a Senior Project Engineer or construction representative
- Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders, exhibiting patience, flexibility, and adaptability
- Significant exposure working in the owner's team and/or large EPC organizations
- BS or MS in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
