Manage Data Risk and Governance

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Data Governance and Risk Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with data owners to bring enterprise-critical data usages under governance.

About the Role

This position involves documenting data flows, identifying and assessing data risks, and implementing controls. You will also develop data governance methodologies, train stakeholders, and provide advisory support. Additionally, you will identify data gaps and recommend strategic remediation, as well as coach team members.

Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in data management or operational risk management, preferably within financial services
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to build rapport across all organizational levels
  • Ability to work independently, manage stakeholders, and handle multiple projects
  • Experience in data quality issue management
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Data Management tools like Collibra, and data profiling and quality solutions such as Informatica IDQ or Dataiku is a plus
