Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Data Governance Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our team and contribute to the development of our data governance framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and advise on privacy risks associated with change activities, particularly those involving AI, digital transformation, process change, and data-driven customer experiences.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide sensible risk-based recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Develop, review, and enhance privacy frameworks, policies, and standards to support innovation while managing reputational and regulatory risks.
  • Provide second-line oversight on privacy risk management, advising and challenging first-line teams on risk mitigation strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Qualifications:
  • Relevant academic qualifications: A university degree in a related field such as computer science, information technology, or business administration.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a relevant risk management and/or compliance role, with experience in privacy a significant plus.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience in engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.
