Enterprise Data Governance Specialist

Our team is dedicated to ensuring data meets enterprise standards while improving confidence in its quality. We collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to bring critical data under governance and manage risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document end-to-end data flows, identifying and assessing data risks, implementing mitigating controls, developing and maintaining methodologies, training stakeholders, and providing advisory support.
  • Identify data gaps, recommend strategic remediation, and mentor team members.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in data management or operational risk management, preferably within financial services.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to build rapport across organizational levels.
  • Ability to work independently, manage stakeholders, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in data quality issue management.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Data Management tools such as Collibra, and data profiling and quality solutions like Informatica IDQ or Dataiku.

About the Role

This role functions independently to review, challenge, oversee, monitor, and report on material risks. As a global team, we manage current risks and anticipate future ones, including divisions such as compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk, and prudential risk.
