Food Services Assistant
Job Description:The Food Services Assistant will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care through the preparation and service of meals. This role requires a high level of flexibility, with the ability to work various shifts including early/late shifts and weekend work.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of food trays for patient consumption
- Delivery, serving, and collection of all patient food requirements and meal trays according to established meal schedules
- Assistance in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
- Cleaning and sanitizing of food service equipment in accordance with hospital and industry food safety and hygiene standards
- Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain)
