The Role
We seek experienced healthcare professionals with surgical nursing experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
As a healthcare professional, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, research-based standards of patient care
- Providing education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs
- Leading successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice
The Department
Our Surgical A ward is a 36-bed unit specialising in general surgery, colorectal, plastic surgery, metabolic and bariatric surgery. We have developed extensive expertise in stoma care and wound management.
We offer support for new employees through preceptorship and provide opportunities for professional development.
