Acute Patient Care Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acute Patient Care Specialist to join our team as a Flight Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to provide direct quality nursing care for patients in an aeromedical environment.
- Deliver high-quality patient care in an aeromedical setting, working autonomously to utilise your skills and experience to deliver acute patient care.
- Collaborate with Medical Officers and on-call Medical Retrieval Consultants to ensure safe patient transfer.
- Ensure compliance with relevant state drug and poisons regulations and controlled substances Act.
Our ideal candidate:
- Must have relevant registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
- Should hold post-registration qualifications in midwifery with birth suite experience.
- Has a minimum of 4 years' acute post-graduate critical care and nursing experience (including emergency, ICU, cardiac or cardiothoracic nursing).
- Is currently Advanced Life Support certified.
- Is ventilator competent.
