Job Title: Full-Time Rostering Coordinator
Co.As.It. is seeking a full-time Rostering Coordinator for immediate start.
The role of the Rostering Coordinator is to manage the scheduling of services to ensure the continued success of community care programs.
Key responsibilities include administrative tasks as well as supervision, education and training of care staff.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience required:
- Degree in social work, social welfare or nursing; or significant experience in a similar role in a community or aged care setting;
- Knowledge of physical, psychological and social issues affecting frail older people and people living with dementia;
- Demonstrated understanding of issues affecting older people from culturally diverse communities;
- Demonstrated understanding of the Australian Government funded aged care system;
- Staff supervision skills;
- Interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to undertake complex negotiations and develop networks, relationships and partnerships;
- Organisational and motivational skills;
- Ability to meet deadlines on a daily basis, manage competing priorities and tasks and delegate effectively;
- Quality improvement and policy development skills;
- Fluency in English and Italian;
- Experience with HCM or similar rostering program;
- Current Drivers Licence;
- Understanding of Work, Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, ethical practices and Ethnic Affairs Priority Statement.
