The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Case Manager to assist in the injury management associated with work-related and non-work-related cases within our organisation.

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the successful candidate will be responsible for claim management in accordance with relevant state legislation, providing advice and recommendations to key stakeholders on injury management and claim processes, including liability and employer responsibilities under relevant state legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive case management for injured employees with a focus on early intervention.
  • Actively collaborate with insurance providers to ensure the effective and timely management of all workers' compensation claims.
  • Assist in early intervention programs, including on-site physiotherapy and medical centres, at various locations.
  • Analyse and report incident and injury trends to develop and implement risk management programs.

About You

  • Knowledge of WorkCover claims management principles to accelerate employee return to work and reduce WorkCover costs.
  • Detailed knowledge of Victorian OHS and WorkCover legislation and regulations.
  • Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management (Return to Work) or similar qualification is highly desirable.
  • Current accreditation or willingness to obtain RTW Coordinator Training Course developed and endorsed by WorkSafe.
  • A collaborative working style, ability to work as part of a team, and demonstrate a proactive approach to engaging internal and external stakeholders.
  • Displays flexibility and responsiveness, with initiative, attitude, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience balancing hands-on and strategic approaches.
