THE ROLE
Balluff is seeking a hands-on professional that can competently support customers, both internal and external with all their electrical automation product needs, coupled together with a willingness to learn and with an emphasis but not limited to the following:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Stay aligned with company/departmental strategy, plan, goals all the time. This is an important customer and sales support role.
2. Coordinate, Organize, structure the TCS (Technical Customer Support) department to provide a best-in-class service quality to customers - Service Excellence
3. Close cooperate and support sales team for the Pre-Sales activities, such as product demonstration, proposal presentation, Demo-show and so on, both in-office and on customer
4. Fulfill the customer requirement in an efficient way to meet business needs, both for internal customers and external customers, both pre
- and after-sales works.
5. Be an expert and lead to resolve complex issues and find proper resources to support team members.
6. Provide feedback or report to management from the local market, such as product quality performance and service quality, product demands, competitor information and so on.
7. Visit to customers on a regular basis, especially the key customers, as well as the urgent visit to customer for urgent cases and ensure the entire team also in line with this requirement.
8. Cooperate and communicate with APAC technical team
9. Management of tools, samples, demos
10. Accomplish other tasks assigned by line manager and/management
**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in automation, mechanical, engineering or related field;
2. 3-5 years or above technical service experience in related industry, such as automation, machinery for automotive manufacture, energy, 3C and so on,
3. Knowledge with PLC (at least one of below: Siemens, Mitsubishi, AB, Omron etc.,) and/or IT language (Codesys, Node red, Json, Rest-API, Python etc) will be a plus
4. Service Sense + Sales senses with High accountability to face customers
5. Structured, self-driven, analytical and motivated, long-term planning, able to think out of box.
6. Good communication skill, able cooperate the resource for problem solving
7. Good English both in spoken and written.
8. Able to travel to customers locally and interstate.
9. Willing to working under pressure.
10. Keen interest to make technical Face to Face interactions with customers Pre and post sales activities prioritized by sales.
11. Ability to manage the work effectively towards pre-decided objectives.
THE REWARDS
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
