You will drive the growth of our Digital Enterprise Business, including leading the Siemens Xcelerator strategy and implementation with our Australian and New Zealand business, as will drive the go-to-market activities for our Regional Solutions and Services (RSS) digital solutions.
Key responsibilities in the role will be:
- Develop and Execute the business’ go-to-market strategy for digital business
- Collaborate with Siemens account executives on identifying and targeting customers that can best benefit from our Smart Building cloud-based offerings including workplace safety, employee experience, space utilization and many others.
- Work closely with the customer and support team members to align offerings, further develop use cases, and negotiate revenue generating contracts with the goal of establishing Siemens as a trusted partner in innovation.
- Develop a healthy sales pipeline by identifying, filtering, negotiating, and launching new relationships in the target geography and vertical markets.
- Provide accurate and current view of account penetration, sales performance and customer satisfaction including health of the funnel/pipeline.
- Identify, reach, and engage key decision makers and influencers in your zone through existing relationships, networking, personal connections, client references, and industry events.
- Educate on and promote IoT solutions and services within the commercial construction market that includes, Consultants, Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, Developers, Property Managers and Building Owners.
- Support local sales management with strategic planning and forecasting.
- Leverage internal organization vertical market expertise and help local sales create, present and deliver use cases for customers in your zone.
- Research, develop and maintain competitive information resources.
- Keep abreast of and disseminate new product and industry knowledge to internal team members.
- Display a strong team-player attitude by collaborating effectively with a matrix-structured, internal network of stakeholders.
This role will have dual reporting into the RSS Business Development Head, but also into the Digital Industries head for the Siemens Xcelerator roll out as well as other cross company digitalization initiatives.
What you'll bring to the role:
- A strategic and transformational mindset, with experience influencing and driving the organisational digital strategy, and business line adoption and integration.
- Industry experience and extensive knowledge of the Siemens portfolio and Xcelerator platform
- A solid knowledge of building/industry digital technologies, analytics, information management, cloud technologies
- Experience working within complex client environments
- Experience leading and executing on digital transformation
- Be a strong internal and external collaborator and influencer
What you'll need to be capable of:
- Strategic planning and tactical implementation to drive the Digital Enterprise Business and the adoption and delivery of the Siemens Xcelerator strategy for the Australian and New Zealand business
- Articulating and driving strategy at enterprise level, including integration and cascade of sub-level strategies
- Work across business-lines to Identify, develop and drive digitalisation solutions for clients across the range of Siemens offerings
- Operating and influencing at a senior level, including influencing and engaging with senior stakeholders, both locally and internationally
- Develop and articulate innovative strategies to senior stakeholders and clients
- Strategically identify ways to embed and align the organisation to strategy, including operating model, processes, practices, systems, incentives, culture etc.
To be considered for this role you will have a strong sales/business development background in building/industry digital transformation.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be good at collaboration and be able to make decisions where not all information is available to you.
