Coffee Service Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and experienced cafe staff member to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe.
- This role requires you to hold at least a relevant certificate III or above + 12 months of relevant employment experience. If no relevant qualification, at least 3 years of relevant employment experience is required.
- Welcoming and serving customers, effectively handling orders, phone inquiries, reservations and emails
- Collecting payment and operating cash registers and POS systems while following proper cash management procedures
- Preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including espresso-based drinks, smoothies, milkshakes, juices and tea
- Selecting and grinding coffee beans, operating coffee-making equipment, frothing milk and creating latte art where appropriate
- Selling and serving light snacks such as muffins, pastries, sandwiches and fresh fruit
- Monitoring and managing inventory on a weekly basis, including coffee beans, milk, syrups and other supplies
- Working effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly, professional and approachable demeanor
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth service during peak periods
- An annual salary based on experience.
