About the role:

Coffee NQ seeks a technically minded individual to join our team of dedicated coffee professionals in the role of Coffee Machine Technician. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to enter a dynamic industry and play a crucial role in ensuring our clients' equipment run smoothly and reliably

As a technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing commercial coffee equipment and automatic coffee machines. Your efforts will be pivotal in allowing our customers to enjoy quality coffee with minimal downtime through prompt and expert maintenance and support, both in-house and in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of coffee machines (both traditional and automatic) and associated equipment

  • Install new machines at customer locations

  • Conduct preventive and routine maintenance

  • Provide basic espresso assistance to customers as needed

  • Offer over-the-phone technical support to remote customers

  • Maintain service documentation and manage parts inventory

  • Undertake general business duties (technical or non-technical) as required.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Restricted Electrical License or acknowledged prior learning sufficient to obtain one (not essential)

  • Previous experience in appliance, electrical, or mechanical repair, preferably with coffee equipment (not essential)

  • A minimum of three years' experience in the coffee industry (not essential)

  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record

  • Physical fitness and the ability to work independently
