Medical Imaging Specialist

Overview: A medical imaging specialist is responsible for driving high-quality and efficient imaging services across a range of modalities, including x-ray, CT and MRI. This role involves managing patients and operating specialized medical imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage patients and operate specialized medical imaging equipment such as General X-Ray, CT, MRI and Mammography
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
  • Promote and maintain the highest quality and safety standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Current relevant Radiography Radiation license and professional registration
  • Appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
