Head of Junior School Pastoral Care

Trinity College is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Head of Junior School Pastoral Care. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the teaching staff in developing and delivering a coherent pastoral care program, as well as supporting student wellbeing, inclusion, and effective partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the teaching staff in developing and delivering a coherent pastoral care program.
  • Support student wellbeing, inclusion, and effective partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Pastoral Care JS (Yr 3-6) leader to ensure seamless support for students across the junior school.

Requirements:

  • Suitable tertiary qualifications (a postgraduate qualification in a field related to pastoral care or similar would be an advantage).
  • Registered to teach in South Australia or eligible to obtain registration.
  • Understanding of and commitment to Christian education.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of and a commitment to the principles of equal opportunity and work safety.
