Senior Development Consultant

We are seeking a proactive, solutions-driven professional to join our team as a Senior Development Consultant. This role will play a key part in managing our interface with state-significant health, education, and transport infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery.

About the Role:
  • Provide comprehensive project coordination and support through our case management platform, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Maintain case management documentation with a strong focus on quality control.
  • Facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to resolve design approval issues, helping developers stay on track with their project deadlines.
  • Review case documents in compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Calculate and issue Infrastructure Contributions with precision and accountability.
About You:
  • Proven experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and deliver results.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Urban Planning, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. University/TAFE graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse options and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to consult, negotiate, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • The ability to assess and review key documents, including commercial deeds, designs, funding/procurement packages, and finalisation packages.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure servicing types (water, wastewater, stormwater, recycled water) would be beneficial.
