Job Title

We are seeking an experienced and caring Community Services Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to contract holders in a retirement village setting.
  • Support residents' wellbeing, independence, and sense of connection by fostering a positive community culture.
  • Liaise with internal teams to coordinate maintenance and refurbishment works ensuring the village remains safe and well-maintained.
  • Manage records, correspondence, and reporting using Uniting systems effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of a respectful and harmonious village environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support annual meetings and budget planning.
Requirements

For this role we are looking for someone who embodies the right attitude and approach. A calm and professional demeanor is essential as is strong organisational and communication skills.

To Succeed As A Community Services Manager You Will Need
  • A person-centred and respectful approach that prioritises the needs of residents.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills to ensure effective task completion.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to build strong relationships with residents, staff and contractors.
  • A genuine desire to support older people to live well and independently.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing needs and priorities.

Experience working in aged care, housing or community services will be highly regarded but not essential if you have a passion for delivering high-quality support to others.
