Human Resources Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to drive our people strategy, enhance the employee experience and contribute to sustainable growth across Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role:

This key role will involve shaping and executing our HR strategy, providing strategic guidance across key HR programs, overseeing payroll operations for both Australia and New Zealand, and collaborating with business leaders to improve the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach and develop the Australian HR team to foster a high-performance culture
  • Provide strategic guidance across key HR programs
  • Oversee end-to-end payroll operations for both Australia and New Zealand
  • Collaborate with business leaders to enhance the employee experience and streamline HR processes
  • Analyse workforce data to inform decisions and align people priorities with business goals
  • Identify current and future capability needs
  • Ensure HR systems, policies and processes are aligned with legal requirements and best practices
  • Support leaders in navigating change
  • Travel within Australia as needed
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
  • Extensive HR leadership experience
  • Strong experience in managing or overseeing payroll operations in Australia and New Zealand
  • Exceptional ability to coach, advise and influence senior leaders and teams
  • Proven success in leading HR teams and delivering organisational change initiatives
  • Deep understanding of Australian employment laws and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in leveraging HR technology
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and evolving business needs
