About the Role

The Consumer Business Manager at Sports Entertainment Network is responsible for driving revenue growth and enhancing the fan experience through strategic planning and execution of consumer-related activities. This role focuses on membership, ticketing, and merchandise, ensuring alignment with the organisation's goals and maximising revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Membership Strategy and Management
    • Develop and implement membership growth strategies, including targeted marketing campaigns and member retention initiatives.
    • Design and execute programs to engage and retain members, providing exclusive content and special offers.
    • Analyse membership data to identify trends and opportunities for growth, providing actionable insights to senior management.
    • Oversee exceptional customer service to members, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
    • Plan and execute exclusive events for members to enhance their connection with the team.
    • Implement systems to collect and analyse member feedback, continuously improving the membership offering.
    • Develop and implement strategies to maximise membership renewals, including personalised communication and special renewal incentives.
  • Ticketing Strategy and Management
    • Develop and execute comprehensive ticket sales strategies to maximise revenue and attendance, including dynamic pricing models and early bird offers.
    • Implement dynamic pricing models and promotional offers to attract diverse audiences and fill seats.
    • Manage all ticket sales channels, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly purchasing experience.
    • Coordinate with event and game day staff to ensure smooth ticketing operations, including access control and customer service.
    • Develop and market attractive ticket packages and bundles.
    • Conduct outreach campaigns to past ticket purchasers, promoting upcoming events.
    • Generate and analyse detailed sales reports to monitor performance and adjust strategies.
  • Merchandise Strategy and Management
    • Develop and implement merchandise strategies to increase sales, including product selection, pricing, and inventory management.
    • Expand merchandise sales channels, including online stores, on-site retail locations, and third-party retailers.
    • Collaborate with designers and suppliers to create unique and high-quality merchandise.
    • Design and execute marketing campaigns to promote merchandise.
    • Implement efficient inventory management systems.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchandise vendors.
    • Monitor and analyse merchandise sales performance, informing future product development and promotional strategies.
  • Administrative Support
    • Assist in developing internal proposals for consumer business initiatives.
    • Draft and review contracts with vendors and suppliers.
    • Manage invoicing and follow up on payments.
    • Maintain accurate records of consumer business activities.
    • Assist in tracking and managing budgets for consumer business activities.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on consumer business performance.
    • Ensure all consumer business activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organisational policies.
    Requirements:
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients, team members, and vendors.
    • Basic understanding of invoicing and payment follow-up processes, with experience in financial record-keeping.
    • Experience in proposal building and obtaining quotes from vendors and suppliers.
    • Ability to draft and review contracts with attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with handling client purchase requests and managing inventory to meet business needs.
    Experience Required:
    • Proven experience in consumer business management, focusing on membership, ticketing, and merchandise.
    • Strong portfolio of successful projects and initiatives in a similar role.
    • Background in data analysis and strategic planning.
