Lead a team in driving continuous quality improvement and mentoring clinical staff as a Senior Quality Manager.

About the Role

The Senior Quality Manager is responsible for providing leadership, coaching, and support in clinical best practice and compliance. This includes guiding team members on aged care quality standards and scope of practice, maintaining and acting on the Care Home's Plan for Continuous Improvement (PCI), and managing and submitting data for the National Quality Indicator Program (NQIP).

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support in clinical best practice and compliance
  • Guide team members on aged care quality standards and scope of practice
  • Maintain and action the Care Home's Plan for Continuous Improvement (PCI)
  • Manage and submit data for the National Quality Indicator Program (NQIP)
  • Oversee monthly care audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Support excellence in resident care through assessment, planning, and evaluation
  • Ensure all documentation meets policy, legislative, and privacy standards
What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
  • Experience in quality improvement, staff development, and training delivery
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to identify and address non-compliance in staff practices
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation processes
