Offshore Wind and Marine Infrastructure Expertise
We are seeking a senior environmental professional to join our team at ERM, a global leader in environmental consulting. As an Offshore Wind Environmental Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that offshore wind and marine infrastructure projects are developed in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Environmental Impact Assessments (EIS/EES) for marine environments and offshore wind projects.
- Design, mobilize, and coordinate fieldwork for marine baseline studies, ensuring safety planning and protocols are in place.
- Manage projects to scope and budget, maintaining exceptional team and stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborate with technical team leads to deliver superior outcomes for clients.
- Support Account Directors in maintaining client relationships and developing business strategies.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
- 10+ years' experience in environmental planning and impact assessments on offshore projects, with 5+ years in environmental consulting.
- Excellent project management and delivery skills, including budgeting, resourcing, scheduling, risk management, and communications.
- Demonstrated experience in building and sustaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and teams.
- Tertiary degree in Marine Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Authorization to work in Australia.
