Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) professional to lead our offshore wind projects in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner. As an Offshore Wind Environmental Approval Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our clients' projects are developed with minimal environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead EIA Projects: Oversee the development and implementation of EIA projects for offshore wind farms, including conducting environmental impact assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
  2. Project Management: Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
  3. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of environmental professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  4. Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to deliver exceptional results and grow business opportunities.
  5. Business Development: Collaborate with Account Directors to identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise to drive growth and revenue.
Requirements:
  1. 10+ Years' Experience: Proven track record in environmental planning and impact assessments on offshore projects, with at least 5 years of experience in environmental consulting.
  2. Excellent Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage projects, including budgeting, resourcing, scheduling, risk management, and communications.
  3. Demonstrated Leadership Skills: Proven experience in building and sustaining excellent relationships with clients, stakeholders, and teams.
  4. Tertiary Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  5. Authorization to Work in Australia: Eligibility to work in Australia is required.
