We are seeking an experienced Offshore Wind Impact Assessment Lead to join our team in Australia. About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our offshore wind impact assessment team in Australia, working on a wide range of projects across the sector. You will be responsible for implementing our strategic direction for offshore wind, providing technical direction to our EIA team, and managing and leading the team to deliver high-quality impact assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the strategic direction for offshore wind within our IA teams across Australia.
  • Provide technical direction to our EIA team and manage and lead the team to deliver high-quality impact assessments.
  • Grow, manage and lead the offshore wind EIA team in readiness for the pipeline and support strategic leadership of the wider EIA team.
  • Develop a clear template for delivery for our offshore wind projects that builds on our experience to add value and efficiencies to our future projects.
  • Contribute to maintaining a work environment and culture that values our people and attracts and retains bright minds.

Requirements

  • Well networked in the offshore wind industry with a proven track record of work with clients in the sector.
  • Experienced in delivering impact assessment in the offshore wind sector and be familiar with the relevant legislative frameworks.
  • Experienced in commercial and business management including management and responses to strategic bids, monthly reporting, resourcing and recruitment.
  • Tertiary degree in a relevant engineering discipline (civil, environmental, chemical) or relevant science discipline (environmental science, geology, chemistry, physics, toxicology or biology) and 12+ years of qualifying experience.
