Expert Financial Advisor - Strategic Partnership

We are seeking an experienced financial expert to join our Brisbane team in a strategic partnership role. This opportunity involves providing high-level services, expert advice, and support to clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements, income tax returns, and general-purpose reports for entities and industries.
  • Conduct in-depth tax research and handle general tax administration tasks, including GST, PAYG, BAS, and IAS preparation.
  • Service a diverse client base, resolving complex issues and addressing individual client needs.
  • Perform journal adjustments, reconciliations, and supporting work papers for clients' accounts.
  • Build and maintain positive and personalized working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Provide development, coaching, and mentoring opportunities to less experienced team members as required.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards.

About You

  • Qualification(s) and/or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business/Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • CA or CPA qualified.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in business and tax advisory within a public practice setting.
  • Professional, client-focused, and invested in developing into a trusted business advisor.
  • Excellent prioritization, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills with the ability to adapt in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
