Key Role: Financial Controller

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Financial Controller in our industrial/manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and analytical skills, with a proven track record of driving financial success within complex manufacturing environments.

About the Position

The Financial Controller will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. This involves managing budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic business objectives, maintaining internal controls and accounting procedures, and collaborating with department heads to provide actionable financial insights.

  • Lead the finance team to achieve departmental goals and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the organization.
  • Supervise the preparation and submission of financial reports to stakeholders, including auditors and senior management.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, areas for cost savings, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with external partners, such as suppliers and vendors, to negotiate favorable terms and prices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Financial Controller must possess:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA or CA) is mandatory.
  • Solid experience in financial management within the industrial/manufacturing industry or product/inventory related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities.
