Job Description

An opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a complex manufacturing business.

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support business objectives.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Supervise and support the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders during financial audits.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the organisation.
  • Process improvement activities
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Financial Controller Should Have
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA or CA) is mandatory.
  • Solid experience in financial management within the industrial/manufacturing industry or a product/inventory related industry.
  • Experience within a chartered environment - audit, business services (ideal).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
