Clinical Trials Contracts Specialist Role

This role is a key part of the organization, responsible for negotiating and executing complex clinical trial research agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting, negotiating, and executing complex clinical trial contracts using standard templates.
  • Supervising a team of Contracts Officers and collaborating with researchers to manage the end-to-end process.
  • Consulting with the Office of General Counsel regarding legal issues related to non-standard contracts.
  • Liaising with researchers to gather information and provide strategic guidance on clinical trial contracting.
  • Applying legal advice to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with legislation while supporting research objectives.
About You
  • Experience in reviewing and executing legal contracts is essential.
  • A background in clinical trials and interest in science, medical, or health research is beneficial.
  • Understanding of clinical trial regulations and experience negotiating research contracts within complex organizations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to influence and guide researchers on contractual matters.

The successful candidate will be a skilled professional with excellent communication and negotiation skills. They will have a strong understanding of clinical trial regulations and experience managing complex contracts.
