Sexual Assault Trauma Counsellor

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sexual Assault Trauma Counsellor to provide expert support services on a permanent part-time basis.

We offer a range of services for children, young people, adults, and their carers, including health promotion, prevention, early detection, assessment, treatment, and continuing care.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Tertiary qualifications and professional registration/membership as a Social Worker or Psychologist with significant clinical experience in child, young people, and adult trauma counselling.
  • Demonstrated specialist assessment, case management, and counselling skills to respond to the needs of clients who have experienced trauma.
  • High level understanding of current policies, frameworks, and legislation regarding child protection, sexual assault, and problematic harmful sexualised behaviours under 10.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing of clinical notes, specialist reports, and presentations for training and community education.

You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care to our clients. Your expertise and passion for working with vulnerable populations will be valued and respected.
