Occupational Health Nursing Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding role, ideal for a nurse who excels in both clinical and advisory settings and is passionate about delivering high-quality care.

As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering a comprehensive occupational health service to various client sites. You will work in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council's Code of Professional Conduct and Scope of Professional Practice, contributing to the promotion of employee health, wellbeing, and safety while supporting the Occupational Health team to meet dynamic business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational health services including routine and safety-critical medicals, pre-placement medicals, and substance misuse screening
  • Conduct health surveillance assessments as required
  • Maintain professional and clinical standards in line with NMC guidance
  • Ensure accurate and confidential patient records are maintained in accordance with clinical best practice
  • Support sickness absence management by liaising with HR teams
  • Advise clients on health and wellbeing strategies, contributing to the development of internal policies
  • Provide case management both face-to-face and remotely

Requirements:

  • NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 2 years' Occupational Health experience
  • Proven case management capability both face-to-face and remotely
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism
