Occupational Health Specialist

The primary purpose of the Occupational Health Specialist is to implement injury management activities effectively for business units. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop skills and embed competencies in sectors, addressing employee health and providing optimal business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist coaching and consultation to facilitate optimal workers compensation and injury management outcomes.
- Coordinate claims, rehabilitation and return to work activities to support employees with work-related injuries.
- Develop case management strategies to achieve optimal case resolution.
- Establish and maintain effective networks with treating doctors, insurers and rehabilitation providers.
- Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health or Safety.
- Return to work coordination accreditation.
- Registration and membership with the relevant professional board and/or association.
Work collaboratively to drive positive change and promote a safe and inclusive work environment that values diversity and inclusion.
