We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Occupational Health and Safety Specialist. This role will be based in Melbourne, Victoria.
This is a hybrid position that requires working at least two to three days a week in the office. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply well-developed specialist knowledge in providing consulting and risk management services to clients.
- Provide operational oversight to allocated client workplaces.
- Collaborate with internal teams to strategically manage workload for allocated portfolios.
- Lead, mentor, develop and manage OHS consultants to deliver consistent and high-quality outcomes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in WHS advisory or related role is desirable.
- Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
- High level of safety hands-on technical experience.
- Experience in people management and leadership – including mentoring, developing and guiding more inexperienced consultants.
- Fantastic stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- Strong issue resolution skills.
- Attention to detail and quality management.
- Must have own vehicle suitable for travel requirements.
