Job description

As a registered nurse in a leading aged care provider, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of residents. Our focus is on building strong relationships between residents, colleagues, and family members.

Responsibilities include providing high-quality medical care, managing wounds, developing individualized care plans, conducting thorough health assessments, and documenting changes in residents' health conditions.

Additionally, you will be responsible for addressing pain concerns, implementing pain management strategies, and being prepared to handle medical emergencies.

End-of-life care is also an important aspect of this role, requiring comfort and support during palliative care.

Required skills and qualifications

Current AHPRA registration is essential for this role. Additionally, knowledge of aged care accreditation standards and adaptability are highly valued. You should be passionate about delivering high-quality care and willing to learn and develop your skills.

Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative approach to teamwork are also necessary for success in this role.

Qualifications and requirements include Australian working rights and a willingness to undergo an NDIS worker screening check.
