Workforce Planning and Training Manager

This role oversees the workforce planning process, leading a team to deliver timely, accurate, and compliant employee rosters.

  • The manager leads a small Production Recruitment team and Production Training Team to ensure effective staffing, training, and operational efficiency.
  • Key responsibilities include providing workforce planning recommendations that optimise labour efficiency and minimise costs while maintaining compliance with employment legislation and industrial instruments.
  • The manager builds and maintains strong relationships with managers and supervisors to implement effective rostering systems and processes across the facility.
  • Collaboration with Payroll, People Operations, and third-party agencies supports recruitment, attendance management, and smooth cross-functional workflows.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in workforce planning, rostering, and recruitment, leading and developing teams.
  • Experience working with and interpreting Awards is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork are required.
Desirable Skills:
  • Data analysis experience can be beneficial.
  • Tertiary or industry-related qualification(s) are preferred.
