Job SummaryWe are seeking highly motivated and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team and provide exceptional support services to our clients residing in the Ipswich and greater Region. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for implementing individualized care plans, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Implement individualized care plans in consultation with clients, their families or guardians.
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide assistance with meal preparation, feeding, and medication management.
- Encourage participation in social activities to promote social interaction among clients.
- Accompany clients on outings or appointments when required.
- Actively engage with the client to build their capabilities and accomplish their goals.
- Maintain accurate records regarding client's health status.
- Certificate III/IV in Disability Services highly desirable.
- Prior experience working in disability services and in palliative care is required.
- A current valid driver's license, roadworthy vehicle, NDIS Worker Screening, Blue Card, CPR, and First Aid Certificate are mandatory requirements.
