Job SummaryWe are seeking highly motivated and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team and provide exceptional support services to our clients residing in the Ipswich and greater Region.
Key Responsibilities- Implement individualized care plans in consultation with clients, their families or guardians.
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming and toileting.
- Provide assistance with meal preparation, feeding and medication management.
- Encourage participation in social activities to promote social interaction among clients.
- Accompany clients on outings or appointments when required.
- Actively engage with the client to build their capabilities and accomplish their goals.
- Maintain accurate records regarding client's health status.
- Certificate III/IV in Disability Services highly desirable.
- Prior experience working in disability services and in palliative care is required.
- A current valid driver's license, roadworthy vehicle, NDIS Worker Screening, Blue Card, CPR and First Aid Certificate are mandatory requirements.
The position is remunerated in line with the Social Community, Home Care and Disability Award with classification based on experience and suitability.
