We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our team in Melbourne.
Frostbite is EA's state-of-the-art multi-platform game development engine, used by thousands of developers worldwide to create some of the industry's best-known titles and amazing player experiences.
Main Responsibilities:- Collaboration: Work with a distributed team of technical experts to design and implement innovative solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Architect technological solutions to improve the engine based on strategic needs and partner with other engineers to prove and develop technology for shipping.
- Code Quality: Develop testable, performant, and maintainable code and produce documentation covering usage and technological decisions.
- Mentorship: Encourage excellence in engineering by providing detailed feedback and mentoring junior engineers.
- 7+ years of experience in C++ programming language.
- Expertise in software design and building creative technical solutions.
- Experience in systems engineering, engine tooling, or rendering systems.
- Strong knowledge of programming fundamentals such as algorithms, data structures, and optimization techniques.
- Proven track record of working in the game industry or with a game engine.
