The role of Senior Bookings and Community Centre Officer is a key position within our organisation, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day bookings and management of community buildings, staffed community centres, sports fields, and open space facilities.
\As a Senior Booking and Community Centre Officer, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the effective utilisation of our facilities. This will involve managing bookings, coordinating events, and promoting our services to the wider community.
\This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
\Key Responsibilities\
- Manage day-to-day bookings for community building facilities, recreational facilities, and other facilities as required
- Promote our staffed community centres and bookable spaces to the wider community, creating opportunities for increased utilisation
\Required Skills and Qualifications\
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess relevant experience in a leadership role or related field. You must also hold a Working with Children Check and a current First Aid Certificate (or have the ability to obtain one).
\In addition, you should have demonstrated skills in community engagement and developing projects and partnerships, as well as experience in delivering frontline service functions.
\Problem solving and decision-making skills are essential in this role, as you will be required to make informed decisions in a dynamic and often changing environment.
