Centre Director Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Director to lead our brand-new, purpose-built early learning centre in Legana. This role will provide an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to create a warm, inclusive, and high-quality environment where children, families, and educators thrive.

This Centre Director will play a vital role in creating a seamless setup and establishment of the new centre. Key responsibilities include team recruitment, policy implementation, and community engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a practical understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQS). They will also possess proven leadership experience in early childhood education and care, with a strong alignment with early learning values, ethics, and high-quality pedagogy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the setup and establishment of a new centre, including team recruitment and policy implementation
  • Drive the delivery of high-quality early learning programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS
  • Inspire and motivate a passionate team of educators through strong, values-driven leadership

Requirements:

  • A practical understanding of the EYLF and NQS
  • Proven leadership experience in early childhood education and care
  • A minimum Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and/or Early Childhood Teaching Degree
  • Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration
