Job Opportunity: Hose Assembly Supervisor

This is an exciting chance to lead a team of skilled trades and advance your career in other business areas. As a Hose Assembly Supervisor, you will oversee planned works, workshop labor, and materials for scheduled, unscheduled, and emerging work.

  • Assist with scheduling, job activities, and workflow to minimize delays and costs.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed information is provided for project scoping and estimating costs and timeframes.
  • Review completed works and ensure all documentation is completed, stored, and up-to-date to reflect progress, variations, additional costs, and program delays.

You will also be responsible for completing necessary time sheets to reflect employee hours, durations, break-up between jobs, and attending meetings to resolve or report issues and progress related to the work.

Requirements
  • Qualification in Engineering or a trade discipline with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the steel or similar industry.
  • Proven supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Solid understanding of the Recognised Service Facility inspection & repair process.
  • Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.
  • Strong awareness and adherence to Safety & Wellbeing practices to ensure safety at all times.
