At MOTION, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to fill the role of Hose Assembly Supervisor. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly process, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Workshop Leadership: Supervise planned works, workshop labour and materials for scheduled, unscheduled and emerging work.
  • Roster Management: Assist with rosters and job activities to minimize delays and contract costs.
  • Estimation and Planning: Ensure accurate and detailed information is provided for scoping and estimating job/project costs and timeframes.
  • Quality Control: Review completed works and ensure all documentation is completed, stored, and in place to reflect progress, variations, additional costs, program delays.
Requirements:
  • A qualification in Engineering or trade discipline with a minimum experience of 5 years in the steel or similar industry.
  • Sound supervisory and leadership skills.
  • A sound understanding of the Recognised Service Facility inspection & repair process.
  • Physical fitness to meet the requirements of the role.
  • Strong awareness and adherence to Safety & Wellbeing practices to ensure the safety of yourself and your teammates.
