Lead Procurement Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in delivering procurement services and category management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analysis and procurement planning, category management, tender development, release and closure, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, contract drafting and development of contract management plans and mediation.
- Collaboration with the Manager to develop service provisions to meet the needs of stakeholders and develop appropriate resourcing levels and accompanying training needs required to meet demand.
- Sourcing and contract process for hardware and software services, including Standing Offer Arrangements.
- Identifying and implementing operational efficiencies to enhance service delivery, while leading or contributing to projects and initiatives that support the organization in achieving its responsibilities.
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 3 or higher Queensland Government Procurement certification. You should also have a sound understanding of procurement service delivery and experience in applying procurement related policies, procedures or frameworks. Professional communication and collaboration skills are essential.
A keen eye for detail, great time management and effective problem-solving skills are also required. Your positive attitude and enthusiasm will drive the organization's success.
