Queensland Hydro is a publicly owned entity established by the Queensland Government to drive the delivery of world-class pumped hydro assets to provide the long duration storage and energy reliability needed to power Queensland's clean energy future.

Their projects will play a critical role in assisting the Queensland Government to meet its renewable energy targets and generate significant opportunities for regional economies and jobs.

**The role**
Reporting to the Director Procurement, the Procurement Lead will manage a functional procurement team (corporate or project support) in the provision of procurement and contract management services.

The role will provide expert leadership and advice on end-to-end procurement and contract management processes to ensure fit for purpose goods and services are sourced and delivered efficiently on time and in accordance with sound governance practices.

You will ensure stakeholders are fully supported to jointly deliver contract and supplier strategies, sourcing initiatives, benefit identification and realisation to deliver optimum, fit for purpose goods and services.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications along with a proven experience as a procurement lead. You will have a well-developed understanding of procurement frameworks and knowledge of Queensland Procurement Policies.

Queensland Hydro are looking for a flexible positive person who will support Queensland Hydro to achieve its objectives.
