Troocoo is partnering with a leading organisation based in Brisbane CBD. Due to growth and transformation, they seek a Procurement Specialist for an initial 6-month contract.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage pre-award procurement activities, including documentation, tenders, evaluations, and contract variations.
  2. Source and purchase goods and services across categories.
  3. Ensure smooth transition and implementation of contracts and vendor relationships.
  4. Develop procurement strategies, manage vendors, and assess risks.
  5. Analyze supplier performance and procurement data for improvements.
  6. Conduct market analysis and risk evaluations.
  7. Build relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
  8. Report on procurement activities and financial data.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in procurement, category management, or contracts.
  2. Experience with Queensland Government is preferred but not essential.
  3. Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
