Procurement Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Bidding Team, working on exciting projects across Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate supplier capabilities and maintain procurement databases through market research.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to align on business requirements, scopes, and specifications for procurements.
  • Execute procurement processes and follow bidding principles to deliver procurement outcomes that support infrastructure and resource project activities.
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders to guarantee compliant procurement processes.
  • Maintain and report procurement activity status weekly during the bidding phase.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement Departments within Infrastructure and Resource sectors.
  • Excellent communication skills with multiple stakeholders, JV partners, and technical discussion confidence.
  • Ability to analyze prices by assessing basic cost drivers and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
  • Curious mind, take initiative, enjoy collaborative work, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
