Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Emergency Response Specialist to provide critical response services, ensuring a safe and secure work environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining site emergency response protocols, providing medical care to injured employees, and offering technical advice on fire, rescue, injury management, health, and security operations.

  • Maintain proper emergency response procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide first response medical care to injured employees
  • Develop and implement fire response plans, conduct regular inspections, and ensure adequate maintenance of fire protection systems
  • Oversee site security operations, including entrance control, data entry, inspections, and reception duties
  • Offer expert guidance on site fire, rescue, injury management, health, and security operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to all fire, rescue, and hazardous materials emergencies on-site
  • Develop and execute comprehensive fire response plans
  • Conduct routine Drug and Alcohol Testing - scheduled and casual
  • Operate and maintain an industrial Health Care Centre
  • Implement effective site security measures

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HLT41115 Certificate IV in Healthcare or Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting Operations)
  • Current unrestricted Class C South Australian Driver's License
  • Current Security Agent license (South Australia) or ability to obtain successfully
  • Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office
