The role of an Associate Scientist involves contributing to the assessment and development of antibody-based immunology drug candidates, enabling faster and less risky progress towards groundbreaking medicines.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute pharmacology and pharmacodynamic studies in immunology and other disease indications.
  • Perform in vivo procedures such as handling, dosing (IV, IP, and SQ), and monitoring studies in preclinical models with precision and accuracy.
  • Develop new bioanalytical methods, optimize workflows, and execute laboratory techniques related to in vivo models with efficiency and expertise.
  • Support laboratory management including inventory management of consumables and reagents.
  • Oversee sample management including sample receipt, organization, and archiving with meticulous attention to detail.
Qualifications
  • Provide high-quality animal care during in vivo procedures.
  • Have a keen interest in immunology and biologics drug development with a strong foundation in relevant scientific principles.
  • Be experienced and comfortable with animal handling, dosing (IV, IP, and SQ), and blood collection with a focus on precision and safety.
  • Hold an MSc in Pharmacology, Immunology, or related field, or a BSc with 2+ years of relevant in vivo experience in an academic or industry setting.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and ability to create value on cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the 3Rs and research ethics.
