Opportunity:

We are seeking an educator to contribute to undergraduate teaching within the discipline of Pathology.

The successful candidate will prepare, execute, and evaluate lectures, tutorials, and practical classes, as well as facilitate small group learning sessions.

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for a lecturer with expertise in Biomedical Science, Pathology or a related discipline.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in effective biomedical teaching, including development, delivery, and course convening at an undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare engaging and informative lectures, tutorials, and practical classes.
  2. Develop and implement assessment strategies that align with course learning objectives.
  3. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver curriculum.
  5. Evaluate and improve programs to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have a PhD in Biomedical Science, Pathology or a related discipline, and/or medical degree with relevant professional expertise.

A key requirement for this role is evidence of teaching effectiveness, passion for educational excellence, highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills, and ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
