About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Specialist to join our team at Vero Insurance. In this role, you will be responsible for driving data integrity and improving system interfaces, ensuring all transactions are accurately mapped to the corporate chart of accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and support data integrity initiatives across Product System General Ledger (GL) Interfaces posting to the General Ledger (Oracle).
  • Analyse problems, develop resolutions, create business requirement specifications, user acceptance testing scripts, and provide training for system release changes and enhancement initiatives.
  • Maintain data integrity of Product System GL interfaces and ensure all transactions are correctly mapped to the corporate chart of accounts.
  • Oversee end-user needs through involvement in product system scheduled change releases and projects, including planning, problem analysis, resolution development, user acceptance testing, and training.
  • Recommend and advise on changes and enhancements to the Suncorp Group's product systems and transactional sub-ledgers to resolve end-user problems and improve efficiency and quality of General Ledger data.

Requirements

  • A Business Degree or equivalent experience is desired.
  • Professional qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA), Certified Practising Accountants Australia (CPA) are also highly regarded.
  • You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results within short timeframes.
  • Experience in Product Systems and GL Interface designs is essential.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in similar roles is required.
