Finance Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Systems Administrator to join our dynamic Finance, Data and Strategic Initiatives function. This role will play a key part in the on-going development of the finance function, ensuring that assigned finance systems and reports are fit for purpose.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team at the forefront of driving change within the company. As a Finance Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of key initiatives and maintaining a robust control environment over finance systems and associated processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the enhancement and maintenance of a robust control environment over finance systems and associated processes with a focus on simplification, standardisation and automation.
  • Perform Finance System administration activities for allocated Finance Systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of Finance systems and configurations, as well as related policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Respond to audit queries on a timely basis.
  • Participating in risk management awareness sessions and forums as required.

About You:

We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in financial and payroll systems maintenance/support, as well as 5+ years' experience in identifying and implementing process improvements. You should also have advanced knowledge and use of Excel, and intermediate use of Office. Additionally, you should be an advanced user of a General Ledger System and have basic knowledge and experience in accounting and finance activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end, financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting etc. Knowledge of risk and data management is also desirable.
